Subscription Details and Cancellation Terms 

This section pertains only to 2026 subscribers of Letters from the Countryside Story Collection: 

 

Letters are mailed out once a month (on the 4th Monday) for 24 months of delightful mail you can look forward to receiving and cherishing. Subscribe by the 15th of the current month to be included in the month's mail out. Any subscriptions ordered after the 15th will be included in the following month's mail out. 

  • Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-annual and Annual Subscriptions:

    • All subscriptions renew automatically, wrapping up at the end of your chosen duration period.

    • By completing your purchase, you agree to our cancellation policy and authorize Letters from the Countryside to charge your payment method for the initial payment at checkout. Additionally, you grant permission for Letters from the Countryside to process recurring payments, according to the prices, frequency and dates listed on the product page until your order is fulfilled or you choose to cancel, as permitted. 

  • Cancellation Process:​

    • You may cancel your reoccurring subscription at any time by reaching out to me through the Contact Us form. No explanation is needed. Just add your full name, along with the corresponding email address for the account. If you have your order number handy, please add that as well, but if not, no worries.

    • I will cancel your subscription and thereafter, you will receive an email stating that your account has been cancelled. You may also log in to see if your account is active or cancelled at anytime.

    • For all of our subscription plans, at checkout, you will be charged for the initial term that you have chosen. Please keep in mind that refunds are not available. If you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged again.

    • When you pay monthly, at checkout you will be charged for that initial month and the subscription will continue for a total of 24 months or until cancelled. If you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged again. 

    • For quarterly subscription, this type is charged once at checkout and renews every three months for a total of 24 months or until cancelled. If you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged again. You will be billed for the quarter, but your subscription will end the following month with no further charges.

    • For bi-annual subscriptions, this type is charged once at checkout and renews every six months for a total of 24 months.  If you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged again. You will be billed for the 6 month period, but your subscription will end the following month with no further charges.
    • For annual subscriptions, this type is charged once at checkout and renews every 12 months for a total of 24 months. If you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged again. You will be billed for the initial year, but your subscription will end the following month with no further charges.

Example Scenario:

If you start a bi-annual subscription in January and decide to cancel in April, you won't receive a refund for April, May, and June. Your subscription will stay active, and you'll continue receiving letters during those months, totaling 6 letters in 6 months. However, your subscription will not renew for the next period (July to December).

Grace Period:

If your recurring payment has not been successful, you will receive an email notifying you that we attempted to process the payment but it could not be completed.

 

We have established a grace period of three days, allowing you to make your payment without risking the cancellation of your letter subscription.

 

If payment is not received by the end of this grace period, we regret to inform you that your subscription will be canceled. Should you decide to resubscribe, please be aware that your letters will start over, as if it were a new subscription. While we wish we could provide a solution, unfortunately, we are unable to prorate subscriptions.

Refunds:

We hope that you are satisfied with your experience, but please note that we do not offer refunds or returns on our products or letter subscriptions. All sales are final. However, if you happen to receive the wrong item or your letter arrives damaged, please let us know within 48 hours of receiving your order. Kindly provide your order number, a description of the damage along with photographic evidence, and we'll assess the situation to either refund or replace the item at our discretion. If your letter subscription doesn’t quite match your expectations, we’re unable to offer refunds, although we do provide a monthly subscription, which includes one letter each month. This allows you to decide if you’d like to continue. If Letters from the Countryside is not quite what you’re looking for, you are welcome to cancel before the next renewal payment is processed.

Change of Address:​

To change your address, please reach out to us as soon as possible through our Contact Us form and use the subject line: "PLEASE HELP CHANGE OF ADDRESS", and send us your new address and we will take care of the rest! Please note: it is the responsibility of the customer to keep their address updated. As a courtesy, per your request, we will resend any letters that have been sent to an old address, to the new address, up to one month back, (one letter).

​​​This section pertains only to 2025 subscribers (Those who subscribed anytime during 2025)

 

Letters are mailed out twice a month (on the 2nd and 4th Monday) for a whole year of delightful mail you can look forward to.

  • Monthly and Bi-annual Subscriptions:

    • Both subscriptions renew automatically, wrapping up at the final mail-out of your chosen duration; 6 months for bi-annual and 12 months for monthly subscriptions.

    • By subscribing, you authorize Letters from the Countryside to charge your card for the initial payment at checkout. Additionally, you grant permission for Letters from the Countryside to process recurring payments unless you choose to cancel prior to the next billing cycle.

  • Cancellation Process:

    • You may cancel your reoccurring subscription at any time by reaching out to me through the Contact Us form. No explanation is needed. Just add your full name, along with the corresponding email address for the account. If you have your order number handy, please add that as well, but if not, no worries.

    • Please keep in mind that refunds are not available. When you pay monthly, you're billed for that month, and to avoid another charge, cancel your monthly subscription anytime before the next billing cycle. You will be billed for the current month, but your subscription will end the following month with no further charges.

    • For bi-annual subscriptions, this type is charged once at checkout and renews at the 6 month mark for the final charge.
    • To avoid a second charge, just cancel your bi-annual subscription anytime before the next billing cycle. You'll be billed for the initial 6 months, after which your subscription will end with no more charges.

Example Scenario:

If you start a bi-annual subscription in January and decide to cancel in April, you won't receive refunds for April, May, and June. Your subscription will stay active, and you'll continue receiving letters during those months, totaling 12 letters in 6 months. However, it won't renew for the next period (July to December).

Yearly Subscription Information:

  • Yearly subscriptions are billed once at checkout and won't renew or be cancellable.

  • We’ll charge your card for the entire year when you sign up, giving you 12 months of delightful and encouraging letters for you to enjoy. If you'd like to continue after the year, you'll need to manually subscribe to a new character's letter.

Change of Address:​

To change your address, please reach out to us as soon as possible through our Contact Us form and use the subject line: "PLEASE HELP CHANGE OF ADDRESS", and send us your new address and we will take care of the rest! Please note: it is the responsibility of the customer to keep their address updated.
