Ellie Preston is a remarkably resilient and compassionate 26 year old woman, who has faced a multitude of challenges and uncertainties throughout her young life. At the tender age of 22, she made the courageous decision to move to the quaint and unknown town of Ocilla, where she was invited to live with her Nana, a woman she had scarcely known before this life-changing move. Through Nana's love and devotion, Ellie discovers hope and strength found in Jesus Christ.
After a myriad of unforeseen events, Ellie moves to Shepherd's Path. Her stories gracefully weave themes of trust, obedience and love, later accompanied by a mystery that she is determined to unravel.
Through prayer, God's Word and godly friendships, Ellie is firmly grounded in His truth and has proven to be strongly equipped to overcome the trials that come her way. Though she dreams of a family of her own to love and care for, she places it into God's hands, choosing His will above her own.
