Shipping and Refund Policy

Refunds

As a small business selling letters and handmade items, I do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind. 

Damages and Issues


Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right. Sending me a picture of how your order arrived, including the packaging, along with your order number will help to make this process faster. I will assess the situation to either refund or replace the item at my discretion. Please send this information to hello@lettersfromthecountryside.com.

Refunds


If the return is approved, I will send you instructions on where to send the package and will notify you once your return is received and inspected. If accepted, you’ll be refunded on your original payment within 15 business days. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If you have any questions in regards to returns or refunds, you can always contact me at hello@lettersfromthecountryside.com. It saddens me to have to be so firm. I must in order to prevent any abuse regarding returns, as each physical item in the Country Store is handmade with much love and care by very special and talented young adults in whom I delight in supporting. 

Letter Subscription

 

Please note that the Letters from the Countryside Story Collection subscription (monthly mail subscription) is not refundable. It is a final sale. I do provide a monthly subscription option, which allows you to decide if the letter subscription is right for you. If it’s not quite what you’re looking for, you are welcome to cancel anytime before the next renewal payment is processed to avoid further charges. Please reach out to me using the Contact Us form. Missing or Damaged Letter 

Please note that letters can take up to 2 weeks to arrive in the US and around 4 weeks internationally.  If you feel your letter is missing, and it has not reached you by the 15th day of our mailing schedule for US and the 30th day for international mail, please reach out to us, using the "Contact Us" tab, and we will happily replace your letter, free of charge. Please use the subject line: "PLEASE HELP! MISSING LETTER" 

If your letter is damaged, please reach out to us within 48 hours of your receiving the letter, using the "Contact Us" tab, and we will gladly send you another letter, free of charge.  Please use the subject line: "PLEASE HELP! DAMAGED LETTER"

Change of Address 

To change your address, please reach out to us as soon as possible by visiting the "Contact Us" tab and use the subject line: "PLEASE HELP CHANGE OF ADDRESS", and send us your new address and we will take care of the rest! 

Please note: it is the responsibility of the customer to keep their address updated. As a courtesy, and per your request, we will resend any letters that have been sent to an old address, to the new address up to one month back, (one letter).

Wrong Address

Please note that we are not responsible for an incorrect or undeliverable address provided to us. Please double check your shipping address carefully before placing an order.

Regarding Letters from the Countryside Story Collection subscription (monthly mail subscription) if you happened to mistype the receiving address and we send letters to that address, you may reach out to us regarding the mistake and we will be happy to help. However, you must reach out within 30 days of the start of your subscription otherwise, we will not be able to help. As long as it is within the first 30 days, we will resend your letter to the new address up to one month back, (one letter), per your request. Please use the "Contact Us" tab and use the subject line:  “PLEASE HELP MISTYPED ADDRESS". 

 

Please note: If it has been over 30 days, then we cannot send out new letters, as multiple letters would have already been sent out to that address. ​​​​​

Processing Time

Regarding Letters from the Countryside Story Collection subscription (monthly mail subscription) - if you order by the 15th of the month, you will receive the current month's letter. If after the 15th, your subscription will begin the following month.

Regarding physical items in our Countryside Store - all items are handmade and can take up to two weeks to ship. 

Shipping

Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the shipping address provided. We are not responsible for incorrectly entered shipping information. Letters from the Countryside is not responsible for any late, delayed, damaged, or stolen items, or for any loss, inconvenience, or expense arising from circumstances beyond our control. After an order is shipped, the customer assumes all risk for any loss or damage. This includes, but is not limited to, carrier delays, mishandling by third parties, weather conditions, incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer, or any other unforeseen events. By placing your order, you acknowledge and agree that Letters from the Countryside is not liable for any related issues.

Price Adjustments

We're sorry, but we cannot make price adjustments. ​​
